Find the right life insurance for your family

Life insurance isn't one single product. There are temporary options, permanent options, plans that build cash value and products designed for retirement. Here you'll understand each one: what it solves, who it fits and the trade-off almost nobody mentions before selling.

How to choose

Three questions to help you decide

1

How long do you need protection?

If you need it for a set period, term life is the way to go. If you need it for life, go permanent.

2

Do you want protection only, or also growth?

Pure protection costs less. Plans that build value pay off long term and cost more short term.

3

What worries you most today?

Leaving your family without income, funeral costs, bringing a loved one home or your own retirement. Each concern has a specific product.

If you still have questions after that, I'm happy to answer every one of them.

The most requested solutions

Each one solves a different problem

Term Life and IUL open the list because they're the most sought after. Read the trade-off on each one: it's the part almost nobody mentions before selling. This isn't the complete list, it's the most common starting point.

01

Term Life

Term life insurance
Term
Run Your Estimate
What it is

Coverage for a set period, usually 10, 20 or 30 years. If something happens to you within that term, your family receives the benefit.

What it solves

It makes sure your family isn't left without income or unable to keep up with the commitments that depended on you.

Who it fits

Anyone with young children, a mortgage or who is the family's main source of income.

The trade-off

When the term ends, coverage ends and there's no cash value. It's pure protection, which is why it's the lowest-cost option.

02

Indexed Universal Life

IUL
Permanent
Get in Touch
What it is

Permanent insurance combining two things: protection for your family and cash value that grows following a market index, with a floor that protects you from losses.

What it solves

It protects and at the same time builds a reserve you can access while alive, under the conditions set in the policy.

Who it fits

Anyone with some stability who wants protection plus long-term growth.

The trade-off

It costs more than term, and the outcome depends on index performance and policy rules. If you're interested, talk to me before signing. Never decide in a hurry.

03

Whole Life

Whole life
Permanent

What it is

Lifelong protection with a fixed premium that doesn't rise with age and cash value that grows at a guaranteed rate.

What it solves

It gives full predictability: you know what you pay today, in ten years and in thirty.

Who it fits

Anyone who values security and long-term planning, with no market exposure.

The trade-off

The premium is higher than the term for the same coverage. You pay for permanence and for the guarantee.

04

Annuity

Annuity
Retirement

What it is

A retirement product. You contribute all at once or in a series of payments, and it turns into regular income in the future, for a set period or for life.

What it solves

It turns what you saved into predictable income, so you're not relying on government benefits alone.

Who it fits

Anyone planning for retirement who wants predictable income.

The trade-off

The money is committed for a period. Early withdrawals can carry a cost. It should only be part of your plan once you fully understand the terms.

Tailor-made

Want to find the right coverage for you?

The solutions above are the most requested, not the only ones. There are other types of coverage, with different benefits, terms and features, built for needs that don't fit on a single page.

The right coverage for you may not be described here. It could be a smaller policy for a specific need, protection designed for someone with family in another country, a policy with flexible premiums or a product built for retirement income.

Tell me what you need and I'll look, among the carriers I represent, for the coverage that fits your case. That's exactly what I do.

Beyond protection

A policy can also be a wealth tool

Structured well, it stops being only a future payout and starts creating liquidity, protecting your business and organizing succession. That's what the other side of my work is about.

Documentation

Not having documents doesn't leave you unprotected

Many people put off the decision believing life insurance in the United States is only for those with every document in order. It isn't. There are products available regardless of your status. What changes is which carriers accept the application and which documents they ask for.

If your plan were refused somewhere else

I review your situation and tell you clearly what's possible, with no empty promises and no wasted time.

If you've been told no somewhere else, it's worth a conversation.

Step by step

How the process works

No surprises. You know exactly what happens at each step, from the first contact until your policy takes effect.

1

Quote

You run the estimate or get in touch. I pull the options from the carriers and compare the terms for your profile.

2

Application

Once we choose the best option, we complete the application with the carrier. I walk you through it.

3

Medical exam, when required

Not every policy requires a medical exam. When the carrier asks for one, I explain what's reviewed and how to schedule it.

4

Signature and active policy

After approval, you sign the contract and your policy goes into effect. I follow it through to the final confirmation.

Estimate

Find out what it costs to protect your family

Answer a few quick questions and see an estimate for your term life insurance. It takes less than a minute, with no obligation.

The price of life insurance isn't fixed. It depends on your age, your gender, tobacco use, your health history and how much coverage you choose. Two people can buy the same product and pay very different amounts.

Frequently asked questions

The questions I hear the most

Life insurance is a contract between you and a carrier. You pay a monthly premium and, in exchange, the carrier pays a benefit to your beneficiaries if you pass away. In the United States, life insurance can also build cash value, depending on the type of policy you choose.

The cost of life insurance varies a lot with age, gender, tobacco use, health and the coverage you choose. The same policy can cost very little for one person and much more for another. That's why this site gives you an estimate and the official quote comes later, directly from the carrier.

Term life insurance covers a set period, such as 10, 20 or 30 years, costs less and builds no cash value. Permanent life insurance stays with you for life and builds cash value over time. The choice depends on how long you need protection and whether you want protection only or growth as well.

Not necessarily. There are life insurance options available regardless of your documentation status. What changes from one case to another is which carriers accept the application and which documents they ask for during the process. Many people delay the decision believing they aren't eligible, and end up spending years with no protection because of that assumption. I review your situation and tell you clearly which life insurance options are available to you, with no empty promises and no wasted time.

In many cases, yes. Life insurance in the United States doesn't depend on one single type of status. Each carrier has its own rules about who they accept and which documents they require, and because I work with several companies I can look for the one that fits your situation. If you've been told no somewhere else, that doesn't mean the answer is no everywhere. The first step is a conversation to understand your case.

It depends on the policy type and the coverage amount. Some products, such as Final Expense, usually skip the exam. For larger coverage, the carrier may request one. When it's required, I explain exactly what will be reviewed.

IUL stands for Indexed Universal Life. It's permanent life insurance combining protection and cash value growth, tied to a market index with a floor that protects against losses. It usually fits people with some financial stability who are thinking long term.

Final Expense is life insurance with smaller coverage, designed for funeral and final costs. Because the benefit is smaller, the monthly cost is lower too. The application is usually simplified and, in many cases, requires no medical exam.

There is a specific plan for that, Share for Life, covering family funeral expenses and transporting a loved one to another country. It's a complementary plan, taken alongside life insurance rather than instead of it.

It depends on the carrier and whether a medical exam is part of the process. From first contact to an active policy, the path runs through quote, application, exam when required and signature. I follow each step and keep you posted.

Whoever you name as beneficiary on the policy. It can be your spouse, your children, another relative or more than one person, split the way you decide. That choice can be updated over time.

Yes. It's common to combine term life insurance, for the years your family most depends on your income, with a permanent policy or a final expense plan. What matters is that the total makes sense for your budget.

Service is based in Connecticut and also happens remotely for clients across the United States. The conversation can be in person or at a distance, whichever works best for you.

Next step

Still unsure which one is right?

That's exactly the conversation I have with every client. I compare the carriers, put the options together for your profile and explain each one until you can decide with confidence.
